SAVE UP TO 80% ON YOUR HOT WATER WITH
Energie Thermodynamic Hot Water Solar System
ENERGIE’s Thermodynamic Solar Systems harness a technology inspired by the foundational principles of thermodynamics, pioneered by French physicist Nicolas Carnot.
This innovative system enables our solar panels to capture heat not only from direct sunlight but also from ambient sources like rain and wind, operating continuously throughout the year.
Our customers who have already taken advantage of our hot water systems are loving it because they’re:
Much more efficient than outdated hot-water systems
Getting hot water exactly when it’s needed
Cheaper to run with fewer moving parts
Available for retrofitting or for replacing your existing water cylinders
Come in a choice of sizes to fit in your space
Come with a 25-year guarantee
Attract 0% VAT (because the government endorses this as a renewable energy product)
But more importantly, they’re saving on their electric bill by heating 80% less water each month.
Which averages out at roughly £100 per month on an average bill.
Typically, these hot water systems pay for themselves by 4-6 years on average.
Nothing else on the market compares.
Why Choose Thermodynamic Solar System?
Introducing our cutting-edge thermodynamic solar system, meticulously crafted for domestic water heating, tailored to meet your home’s needs.
Experience uninterrupted hot water at temperatures reaching up to 55°C, round the clock, ensuring maximum efficiency.
The ECO series offers a range of capacities from 250 to 500 litres, featuring options with 1 or 2 thermodynamic solar panels and water heaters equipped with or without an additional coil, available in stainless steel or enamel finishes. Comprising an indoor unit, the water heater, and an outdoor unit, the thermodynamic solar panel.
- Solar Performance: Rigorously tested and certified in compliance with the highest European standards
- Sturdy And Durable: Crafted from anodized aluminium and fortified with a specialized Solokote finish
- Effortless And User-Friendly: Our hot water cylinder's exceptional efficiency is achieved through the utilization of high-density polyurethane foam, which minimizes heat loss rates.
- Sophisticated: The equipment’s indoor unit has a stainless steel or enamelled cylinder, as well as an external condenser. The thermodynamic block is equipped with a state-of-the-art compressor, with one of the lowest electrical consumptions on the market.

Photovoltaic Intelligence
- With PV Smart Grid Ready capability, the ENERGIE Solar System harnesses surplus power from PV Panels, Wind Energy, or Small Hydro sources, storing what would otherwise be lost energy directly into the water. This feature enables you to enhance your savings.
- Setting new benchmarks in intelligent energy management, our Photovoltaic Intelligence feature ensures optimal utilization of resources.
- Maximize the productivity of your PV Solar Panels while simultaneously reducing Domestic Hot Water (DHW) costs.
- By capitalizing on available solar irradiation, the thermodynamic solar system operates more efficiently during periods of heightened sunlight exposure.
Achieve the perfect balance between PV production and consumption through our intelligent controller, optimizing the utilization of renewable energy resources.
How Does It Work?
1.
The evaporation of the fluid that runs inside the closed looped circuit happens on the solar panel by capturing the heat from the sun, wind, rain and surrounding air by natural convection.
2.
The heated fluid then travels to the compressor, that will compress the fluid increasing its pressure and also it’s temperature. Then it goes to the heat exchanger where this heat is transferred to the water.
3.
An expansion valve will make the pressure and temperature drop to sub-zero values. The fluid travels up to the thermodynamic solar panel and the cycle repeats again.

Thermodynamic Hot Water Solar System can be retrofitted to your existing hot water tank, which means you can save money without having to replace your water tank.
How Efficient Is It?
Thermodynamic Hot Water Solar System is a modern and efficient way of heating water for your home. It uses advanced technology to capture heat not only from direct sunlight but also from ambient sources like rain and wind, operating continuously throughout the year.
Subsequently, the heated fluid moves to the compressor, where it is pressurized, elevating both its pressure and temperature. Next, it proceeds to the heat exchanger, where the accumulated heat is transferred to the water.
Following this, an expansion valve facilitates a drop in pressure and temperature to sub-zero levels. The fluid then cycles back up to the thermodynamic solar panel, repeating the process anew.
The Energy Saving Trust also notes that solar-assisted heat pumps can be an attractive option for households that are off the gas grid and currently rely on oil, LPG, or electricity to heat their hot water. They estimate that such households could save up to £1,140 per year by installing a solar-assisted heat pump.
